Teenage Rehab: Episode 1

~Nick’s POV~
Hilary let u explore the clinic or “prison” as Joe calls it and during that time I was planning on getting real close with some of the chicks. I decided to leave the cutter and bipolar alone and talk to the star because she was smoking hot!
Nick: Wat up? I’m Nick.
Miley: Nice to meet you.
Nick: So from what I understand, you really don’t want to change your ways.
Miley: Yep that’s right but you seem the same way.
Nick: I am. I like sleeping with girls and sometimes knocking them up only to dump them.
Miley: I like the way you think but if you think I’m going to sleep with you, you’re wrong.
Nick: Who said i was looking for sex?
Miley: (laughs) Really?
Nick: Yeah. I mean taking a shower with you doesn’t count as doing it.
Miley: Good point.
Nick: So you’ll do it.
Miley: (bites her lip) I only take bubble baths with rose petals floating around. Besides I’m a star not a hooker.
Nick: So your playing hard to get?
Miley: No, I’m actually quite easy. But I just don’t take showers with anybody… that’s what making out is for.
I so knew she wanted me I mean who wouldn’t? But if she wanted to start making out and work her way down that was fine with me. I pulled her close to me and did as she wanted. I made out with her and she was a wonderful kisser. That just helps my imagination wonder what else she is god at.
~Emily’s POV~
Demi was like totally depressed about the whole ’showing people her cuts’ thing so we decided to go outside and take a walk. Finally we settled by the lovely pond and watched as the orange fish swam but I knew it was time to talk about earlier.
Em: Look Dem, you can’t act this way. They were just reacting the way anyone else would have.
Dem: Yeah whatever. (pulls out a razor)
I couldn’t sit there and let her cut herself so I did something that ticked her off. I pulled the razor away.
Dem: Give it back!
Em: No! I refuse to sit here and watch you hurt yourself!
Dem: Em you have 5 seconds to give the razor back! One. Two. Three. Four.
Em: I’m not putting up with this anymore. You want to cut yourself? Go right ahead and be my guest! (threw the razor by Demi’s side) But don’t expect me to come visit you in the hospital because you cut a vain!
Dem: Whatever you bipolar bitch!
Em: (crying) you! (walks away)
That hurt what she said about me. I was just looking out for her best interest but if she didn’t want my help then I wouldn’t offer it. As I stormed away crying I accidentally bumped it someone.
???: Are you okay?
Em: Yeah.
I wiped away my tears. And looked at the guy trying to remember his name from the group session earlier today.
Em: Joe right?
Joe: Yeah. Your Emily right?
Em: Yeah that would be me.
Joe: I’m sorry I never caught your last name.
Em: Oh um… Osment.
Joe: Cool. So you want to tell me why you were practically running and crying.
Em: It’s a long story.
Joe: Well if you haven’t noticed, I think we’re going to be in this prison for quite a while. Or until a meteor crashes into Earth and they send us out to fight for survival alone.
Em:(laughs)
Joe: It wasn’t funny.
Em: I thought it was.
Joe: Yeah? (shakes his head) Anyways, the crying situation?
Em: Oh yeah. Well you know Demi?
Joe: The cutter?
Em: (winced)
Joe: I’m sorry, I know your close.
Em: Yeah well…
I told him the whole story as we sat by the water fountain and the cool breeze passed by making the palm trees rustle. I actually felt I could trust Joe for once in my life it wasn’t just Demi I could confide in. I liked that feeling.
~Joe’s POV~
As Emily talked I noticed how pretty she was. I couldn’t understand why she was made fun, I mean I would kill to be her friend. Better yet… boyfriend. I shook the thought from my head and noticed she was done talking.
Joe: Wow.
Em: Yeah.
Joe: Your really pretty.
Em: (blushes) Your just saying that to be nice.
Joe: No I’m not. I really think that.
Em: Whatever. (smiles)
Joe: What’s your hair look like down?
I realized she had a ponytail.
Em: I don’t know. I never wear it down.
Joe: There’s a first time for everything right?
Em: I guess. (lets down her hair)
Joe: Wow. Your even- (interrupted)
Hilary: You guys it’s time for dinner!
Joe: Okay.
Em: (stands up to put it back in a ponytail but Joe stops her)
Joe: It looks better down.
Em: Okay. (walks with Joe towards the house)
Joe: Mind if I hold your hand?
Em: Um… yeah I do. Your a player just like you’re stupid brother. I’m not falling for it. I’m not a dumb blonde okay? I get what your trying to do!
Joe: But I was ju- (interrupted)
Em: Just save it. (walks inside)

Paul Yates and I visit the Young St. Bridge in Aberdeen, Washington, which used to be home to Nirvana singer/songwriter Kurt Cobain. It was the inspiration for his song “Something in the Way,” and has since become an unofficial memorial. It extends over the Wishkah River, which part of Kurt’s ashes were spread into after his death.
