El 1 de abril de 1994 Kurt Cobain se escapó del centro de rehabilitación contra las drogas de Los Angeles en el que estaba internado. Siete días después un electricista encontró su cuerpo en su casa de Seatle. La versión oficial asegura que se suicidó con un disparo en la cabeza. La presión mediática a la que eran sometidos tanto él como su mujer Courtney Love y sus problemas con las drogas pudieron con él. A través de numerosos entrevistas, tratamos de arrojar luz sobre lo que pasó realmente durante sus últimas horas de vida. Con su muerte nació el mito.

Paul Yates and I visit the Young St. Bridge in Aberdeen, Washington, which used to be home to Nirvana singer/songwriter Kurt Cobain. It was the inspiration for his song “Something in the Way,” and has since become an unofficial memorial. It extends over the Wishkah River, which part of Kurt’s ashes were spread into after his death.
